Group photography research
Group photography research
These are a phew group photographs I find interesting. The reason I like these photographs is because of the background the background makes these image intriguing this is because the background is unusual. And there is a variety of close ups and long shots. They have also used the black and white effect in some images.
On the fourth image they use a long shot to their advantage. And the fifth image uses a casual pose.

My group photography mind map
My own group photography work
These are some of my own group photographs I have photographed and edited in photoshop.
Initial response
These are my first attempts of group photography. I took photographs from high up as well as using casual poses on the top three images. And on the bottom three images i focused on the hair of the middle person. I used different backgrounds for the top three images and the bottom three.
More of my own work
These photographs where taken around school and in my classroom. They where taken in February and earlier whilst in lesson. I decided to take these images because it would improve and develop my work it would help me to get a higher grade. These images relate to my research as I have utilised the same monochromatic effects in my work. I have been inspired by the creative use of composition I observed in my research work. I have taken elements from the photographers I researched to help develop and improve my own photographic work. The work of my chosen photographers in my research section provided me with a great starting point to develop my creative journey. I have carefully and subtly edited my work using a wide range of Photoshop CS5 tools and filters. For example black and white and hue saturation and levels and exposure. I felt that some of my original jpeg images would benefit from selective and sensitive use of Photoshop. Some of the effects i used where exposure and lighting. I am very pleased with my work. I am particualy pleased with my black and white images. I think I could improve my work by adding more full frame images.
I edited these images in photoshop to do this I used the marque tool to select a part of the photograph and the copy and paste it then I rearranged it in a different position and edited it using hue and saturation as well as the magic wand tool.
